Waynesboro talent show raises money for Communities That Care

WAYNESBORO, Pa. — A total of 353 tickets were sold to the “Waynesboro’s Got Talent” talent show and about $1,500 was raised Saturday for the nonprofit Communities That Care, according to organizer K. Marilyn Smith.

Twenty acts performed at the event, which featured Jeb Keller of Waynesboro as the master of ceremonies, and judges Caroline Dean, Gerald Kowallis and Jennifer Vanderau.

Results:

Elementary school

  • First place — Maggie Dennis
  • Second place — Leah Morgan
  • Third place — Andy Barkdoll

Middle school

  • First place — Erica Orndorff
  • Second place — Courtney Sprading
  • Third place — Trista Taylor

High school

  • First place — James Barciz
  • Second place — Ben Dennis
  • Third place — Taylor Davis
