Rep. Bartlett to host two small-business conferences

A small-business conference on how to do business with the National Security Agency will be Tuesday, April 12, from 9 a.m. to noon at Carroll Community College, Building K Conference Center, in Westminster, Md.

Keynote speakers for the event hosted by U.S. Rep. Roscoe Barlett, R-Md., will be William Reybold, deputy senior acquisition executive with the NSA Directorate of Acquisition, and Joe Balsamo, chief of the IT Enterprise Contracting Office at NSA.

Bartlett, in conjunction with the Hagerstown-Washington County Chamber of Commerce, also will host a cyber safety conference on Wednesday, April 27, from 9 a.m. to noon at Hagerstown Community College’s Athletic, Recreation and Community Center. The conference will feature discussion of social media, cloud computing and hacking mitigation.
