Evon Eula Hull, 82, of Clear Spring, Md., and formerly of Tombstone, Ariz., passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2011.

Born March 28, 1929, in Cumberland, Md., Evon was the daughter of the late James Marvin and Maudie Kisamore Sites.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Gene" Hull, in 1983.

She was a faithful member of Jehovah's Witness.

She was a homemaker. She attended school in Flintstone, Md.

Evon enjoyed 23 years of traveling while her husband was in the U.S. Army. Upon his retirement, the couple moved to Tombstone, where she resided for 33 years.  She greatly enjoyed walking outdoors and was known for her love and compassion for animals.

In addition to aunts, Claire Merritt and Mabel Kisamore, and cousins in the Seneca Rock, W.Va. area, she is survived by a special niece and caregiver with whom she resided, Patricia A. Sites, of Clear Spring; three brothers-in-law, Stanley Hull and longtime companion, Arlene Ritz, of Hancock, Loye Hull and wife, Dorothea, of Hancock, and Barry Hull and wife, Janet, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her only brother, James "Alvin" Sites of Clear Spring, in 2006.

Services will be held Saturday, April 9, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Donald Edwin Thompson Funeral Home Inc., 13607 National Pike, Clear Spring. Mr. Robert McKinley will officiate. Burial will be in Little Rose Hill Cemetery in Clear Spring.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
