Hagerstown police seek assailant

HAGERSTOWN — A 15-year old sustained nonlife-threatening injuries when he was stabbed Monday night in front of 454 Park Place, Hagerstown City Police said.

The stabbing occurred at about 10:40 p.m., after the youth, a Park Place resident, was involved in an altercation with his assailant, police said in an emailed release.

The youth's assailant was described as a black male in his early 20s, about 5 feet 11 inches tall, and weighing 170 to 180 pounds. Police said he was wearing a red shirt and a white hat.
