Spring session of yoga practice starts Sunday

A spring session for yoga practice will be held at Mount Nebo United Methodist Church Activities Center beginning Sunday and running through May 22, with the exception of Easter Sunday.

Class time is 6 to 7 p.m. Nancy Poole, a registered yoga teacher, will lead the class, which is suitable for beginners.

The six-session class costs $42, which is payable at registration. The drop-in fee is $9 per session. Participants must be 18 years old or older.

Easter bazaar

The Easter bazaar at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Keedysville is slated for April 16 and 17, in the church hall at 53 N. Main St.

Homemade soup, sandwiches and other goodies will be on sale alongside Easter candy, baskets and crafts.  
Hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday.

Gun bonanza set for April 16

Boonsboro Volunteer Fire Department will host a gun bonanza Saturday, April 16, at Cochran Auction Complex on Mapleville Road.

Doors open at 4 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6 p.m.
A DJ and dancing will follow the drawings.

Boonsboro Library programs

 A program titled “Gettysburg: Field of Glory” will be presented by local author C.W. Whitehair Saturday at 11 a.m. at Boonsboro Library.

Whitehair will share the stories of the Confederates who participated in “Pickett’s Charge.”

On Tuesday, April 12, Warren Gray will present “Did Booth Escape?” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the library.
