Washington County senior menus - April 6 through April 12

The Washington County Commission on Aging offers noon lunches to anyone 60 years and older at six locations — Smithsburg, Keedysville, Williamsport and three in Hagerstown.

Smithsburg, Keedysville and Williamsport are open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Potomac Towers, Walnut Towers and Francis Murphy are open Monday through Friday.

The hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the days they are open.

The agency requires that you call by 11:30 a.m. to give them a two-working-days reservation notice. A donation is asked per meal.

Weekly menu

Wednesday — Vegetable noodle soup, hot ham and cheese, creamy lettuce, fruit cocktail, bread and milk.

Thursday — Lasagna, garden salad, Texas toast, banana and milk.

Friday —

  • Potomac Towers, Francis Murphy, Walnut Towers — Catfish, lima beans, carrot coins, pears, bread and milk.
  • Smithsburg, Keedysville, Williamsport — Crunchy fish, hash brown patty, carrot coins, pears, round roll and milk.

Monday — Honey- barbecue beef rib strips, potato wedges, green beans, peaches, bread and milk.
Tuesday —  Beef and turkey hot dog, baked beans, coleslaw, pineapple, long roll and milk.
