West Hagerstown Lions Club will hold an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner Saturday, April 16, from 1 to 6 p.m. at Girls Inc. on Washington Avenue. The dinner includes one serving of apple sauce or tossed salad, bread and beverage. Desserts will be available for $1 each. Tickets cost $6 or two for $10, three for $15 or four for $20. Tickets cost $4 for those ages 6 to 12 and are free for those younger than 5.
The club will host this year’s Leader Dog Banquet Tuesday, April 19. The speaker will be Len Quinn, an auctioneer. The club is requesting that each club or individual donate an item to be auctioned the night of the banquet.  Proceeds go to Leader Dog. The roast turkey, potatoes and gravy meal costs $10.

Women’s Club card party
On Wednesday, April 20, beginning at noon, the Women’s Club, at 31 S. Prospect St., in Hagerstown, will host a benefit card party and luncheon. Those who do not play cards or games are invited to come for lunch. Cost is $12 with proceeds benefiting the Community Free Clinic

League of Women Voters to hold meeting
The League of Women Voters will host a program on the ”Current Means of Electricity in Maryland and Potential Alternatives.” The meeting will be April 19, starting at 7 p.m. at John Wesley United Methodist Church, 129 N. Potomac St. Hagerstown.
Participants are asked to enter the church using the walkway to the right of the main entrance. The meeting will be held in the last room on the left.
This is a free event sponsored by the League of Women Voters.
