First cruise-in of season set for Friday

Enjoy the Spring Fling Cruise-in on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. on Conococheague Street in downtown Williamsport.

The event also will feature DJ entertainment in front of Town Hall from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and a 50/50 drawing.

Classic cars enter off Salisbury Street. A donation of $2 per car is requested.

Wills and estate planning

The Community Foundation will host wills and estate planning seminars throughout the county. They will be in Williamsport on Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. Individuals interested in learning about writing a will or planning their estate are encouraged to attend.

The seminar is free but registration is required. Call the foundation at 301-745-5210 for specific location and details.

Zion golf outing planned

The Zion Spring Golf Classic is scheduled for Saturday, April 16, at Greencastle Greens. Tee times are from 10 to 11:45 a.m.

The cost is $50 per person and includes greens fees, cart, lunch and many extras. The format is captain’s choice. Teams of four can be put together as you choose.

The deadline for registration is Saturday, April 9.

Angel Food ordering set

Angel Food orders will be taken Thursday, April 7, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 9, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Rehoboth United Methodist Church, 30 E. Salisbury St., in the Fellowship Hall.

Walnut Towers residents order Wednesday, April 6, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 9, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Potomac Towers residents order Wednesday, April 6, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 9, from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

Scout troop says thanks

Scout Troop 17 collected food on March 26 to replenish the Williamsport Food Bank. The troop would like to thank the residents of Williamsport and the surrounding area who supported their food drive. They collected 180 bags of food, filling three pickup truck beds.

Choir hosts dinner

St. Mark’s Episcopal Church Choir will host a spaghetti dinner Saturday from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at St. Mark’s Parish Hall, 18313 Lappans Road.

Dinner includes all-you-can-eat spaghetti, salad, beverage and your choice of homemade desserts.

Cost is $6 for adults and $3.50 for ages 6 to 12. Children younger than 6 eat free. Pay at the door. No reservations or tickets required.
