Hagerstown Lioness Club

The Hagerstown Lioness Club will hold a spring dessert card/game party Tuesday, April 5, at the Women’s Club, 31 S. Prospect St. in Hagerstown.

Doors open at 1:30 p.m. Tickets cost $10 per person. Bring your own games and cards; the Lionesses will furnish light refreshments and door prizes.

Tickets can be purchased from any club member or at the door. Proceeds will benefit  community projects.

Titanic Casino Evening

Discovery Station will hold a Titanic Casino Evening at Homewood Suites, 1650 Pullman Lane, Hagerstown, Friday, April 8, at 6 p.m.

The event will include games of chance, cocktails, buffet, 50/50 cash raffle, live and silent auctions. Tickets cost $35 per person or $60 per couple. At the door, tickets will cost $40 per person. Each ticket includes $50 in-house “funny money.”

Saturday — Dean Burkett, “Mr Magic,” will present “Magic and You” at Discovery Station at 2 p.m.


Women’s Club

The Women’s Club will host a spring fashion show fundraising event at Fountain Head Country Club Saturday, April 9, at noon. Lunch will be served at noon with fashions from Lena’s, The Boutique and L & L Classic Clothing. Tickets cost $30.

There will be vendors and door prizes.

Pythian Sisters to hold bingo event

Pythian Sisters of Maryland, Potomac Temple 28, will hold a basket bingo Sunday, April 10, at Funkstown Fire Hall.

Proceeds will be used to support children with autism.

Doors will open at 11 a.m. and games will begin at 1 p.m. Lunch will be available for purchase. Admission costs $20 and includes 20 regular games and five specials. The event will include tip jars, raffles, door prizes and a dessert table.

Basket bingo

Antietam Fire Co. will host a basket bingo Sunday, April 10. Tickets cost $20 and can be reserved by contacting Annette at 301-992-6151.

There will be filled baskets, as well as raffles and tip jars. The kitchen will be open.  

The event will be held at Western Enterprise fire hall, 526 Washington Ave. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. and bingo begins at 1:30 p.m.


Basket bingo

The South High Band Boosters will hold a Vera Bradley Basket Bingo on Sunday, April 3, at the Elks Lodge on Robinwood Drive.

Tickets, which includes the meal and 24 games of bingo, cost $25 per person. In addition, there will be three raffles and numerous door prices. Tip jars, including King Tuts, will be available. All baskets and bags will be filled. 

Doors open at 11:30 a.m., lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. and bingo starts at 1:30 p.m. For more information , call Dennis Swope at 301-790-0840. All proceeds will help to support the South High Band.
