St. Mary Catholic School named its Good SAMS (Service, Attitude and Manners) students for February.

They are Matthew Stine, Allie Sherman, Ben Byers, Andrew Stine, Olivia Borum, Jennifer Elbin, Abigail Theis, Mackenzie Stockslager, Amanda Curtin and Taylor Blenckstone.

Operation Rice Bowl

Seventh-graders at St. Mary Catholic School explained Operation Rice Bowl to kindergarten students.

Operation Rice Bowl is the Lenten program of Catholic Relief Services.  Each student is given a cardboard rice bowl, and money they save by fasting is collected in the rice bowl and sent to people in need in 100 countries.
