Guitarist and vocalist Jeff Miller will perform from 7 to 10 p.m. today at the Salem Methodist Church coffeehouse in Keedysville. Open mic will begin at 7 p.m.; Miller will perform at 8.

A $10 donation is suggested at the door, and includes a full coffee bar, tea and gourmet treats.

Antietam Masonic Lodge 197 in Keedysville will hold a Car Show Open House from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 2.

Fire company to hold roast beef dinner  

The Potomac Valley Fire Co. in the community of Dargan will hold a $10 roast beef dinner at the fire hall Saturday. The doors will open at 5 p.m. for the 6 p.m. dinner.

Sharpsburg Elementary to conclude busy month  

Author Ane Marie Hannon will visit Sharpsburg Elementary today, followed by the  Fine Arts Show Tuesday.  Officer Phil will visit the school Wednesday with a presentation for third- and fourth-graders.

Potpie dinner held at Bethel

Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church will hold an all-you-can-eat chicken and ham slippery potpie dinner from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Bethel United Methodist Church, 4301 Main St., Rohrersville. 


The cost is $7 for adults, $4 for children ages 6 to 10, and free for children younger than 6.
