Cathleen Sue Kerns, age 52, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at Winchester Medical Center.

Born March 30, 1958, at Morgan County War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Franklin and Verda Louise "Pip" Stotler Wills.

She was of the Presbyterian faith.

She attended Berkeley Springs High School and had worked for 15 years at Zero Pack in Winchester, Va. She most recently worked at McDonald's restaurant in Berkeley Springs.

Cathy loved animals, most especially her dog, "Chloe," and her cat, "Cat."

Cathy is survived by one son, Todd Thomas Wills, and his wife, Carrie Ann Barney, of Berkeley Springs; one sister, Sandra Kay Clingerman, of Hancock, Md.; two brothers, Thomas Riley Wills of Berkeley Springs, and Elmer Franklin "Jakie" Wills II, of Warfordsburg, Pa.; five grandchildren, Todd Thomas Wills II, Sara Marie Wills and Tiana Tobi Wills, all of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Jayden Nicole Wills and Nevaeh Lynn Wills, both of Berkeley Springs; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 25, 2011, at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union St., Berkeley Springs, with Pastor Richard Clingerman officiating. Interment will be at Alpine Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home, which will be open from 2 to 8 p.m. for the convenience of family and friends.
