Volunteer Fair set for March 27

A volunteer fair is set from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. Sunday, March 27, in the meeting hall of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Hagerstown at 13245 Cearfoss Pike.

The fair will offer information about opportunities to help others in our Tri-State area.

The fair is free and open to the public.

In addition to information, the fair will also include dogs in training from Guiding Eyes for the Blind and onsite voter registration by the League of Women Voters.

Fair visitors can also bring donations of nonperishable foods for Food Resources; used books for the  American Association of University Women Scholarship Book Fair; and new socks and underwear for children at Winter Street Elem- entary School.

Other participating organizations include REACH, Breast Cancer Awareness of Cumberland Valley, National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), Habitat and ReStore and Friends of Library.
