Work around Willson Plant might affect water

March 20, 2011

HAGERSTOWN — The City of Hagerstown’s Water Division will be performing work at the R.C. Willson Plant, beginning at 11 p.m. Wednesday.

Customers may experience low water pressure and some minor discoloration during the early-morning hours. The minor discoloration is a result of a change in flow, and all regulatory standards will be met. The work is expected to be completed at approximately 4 a.m. Thursday.

Emergency operations have been notified of the work and the potential of lower water pressure in the service area.

For more information, call 301-739-8577, ext. 690, during normal working hours or 301-223-7424 after normal working hours.
