Antietam Masonic Lodge 167 in Keedysville will welcome Miss Teen Maryland USA Kirsten Nicholson during a car show open house Saturday, April 2, from 3 to 6 p.m.  
The event will be highlighted by Miss Maryland Allyn Rose. Rose and Nicholson will be available for autographs and photographs.
Food will also be available, as well as door prizes from NAPA.
The show will feature Chevys from the 1950s to the present, with a strong emphasis on ‘Vettes.  For more information, go to

Samples Manor Cemetery to start spring cleaning
The Samples Manor Cemetery Committee will start spring cleaning for Easter. The committee asks residents who have placed memorial items such as flowers and statues on the graves of loved ones to remove and collect the items by March 26, or the cemetery committee will be obligated to dispose of them.

Spring revival planned  
The Samples Manor Church of God, at 2128 Harpers Ferry Road near Dargan, will hold a spring revival from Sunday, March 20 to Sunday, March 27, with preaching and music every evening.

Salem Lutheran to hold pancake supper  
Salem Lutheran Church, 17626 Bakersville Road, will hold a spaghetti supper Saturday, March 19, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Brill Hall.
The meal will include Italian salad, garlic bread, applesauce, tea or coffee. A bake sale table will be available. Proceeds from the meal will go toward the restoration of the old church building. Call Joann at 301-582-5665.

Fire company to hold basket bingo Saturday  
Potomac Valley Fire Co. in the community of Dargan will hold a basket bingo at the fire hall Saturday. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. and bingo starts at 1 p.m.

Rockland Woods to hold dinner/auction March 26  
Rockland Woods Elementary School will hold a dinner/auction Saturday, March 26, at Next Dimension on the Old National Pike south of Funkstown. Doors will open at 4 p.m., and dinner will be at 6 p.m. The auction follows dinner. Reservations are required. Tickets cost $15. Call Loretta at 301-582-0658 or MaryLee at 301-582-1119 by today. Proceeds from the dinner/auction will be used to enhance school technology and field trips.
