A Hagerstown man charged with sexually molesting a girl was ordered held on $350,000 bail after a bond review hearing Tuesday in Washington County District Court.

Thomas Sean Crammer, 29, of North Colonial Drive, is charged with sexual abuse of a minor as a continuing course of conduct, sexual abuse of a minor and second-degree sex offense, according to the summary of charges filed by the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

Sexual abuse of a minor as a continuing course of conduct carries a 30-year maximum sentence, while the other two charges carry 25- and 20-year terms, respectively, the charging documents said.

Between August 2010 and Feb. 6, investigators allege that Crammer fondled and attempted intercourse with a girl younger than 14, the documents said.

The girl, who was interviewed Tuesday at the Washington County Child Advocacy Center, told investigators that the first incident occurred in the late summer or early fall of 2010.

During the bond review hearing, conducted on a closed-circuit television link between District Court and the Washington County Detention Center, Crammer told District Judge R. Noel Spence that he had never been arrested before.

Crammer has a preliminary hearing scheduled for April 14, court records said.
