Victor T. Schlosser II passed away peacefully on Feb. 2, 2011, at the age of 80.

He was born March 7, 1930, in Hagerstown, Md., to Dr. Roger and Isabelle Schlosser.

He is preceded in death by his sisters, Peggy Jones, Jane Henson, Sarah Ward and Susie Garver, and a brother, Roger "Buzz" Schlosser, all of Hagerstown. He is also preceded in death by his son, Victor T. "Trey" Schlosser III.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lila Lee Schlosser; daughters, Lori Lee Schlosser and Lisa Lee Schlosser McGuire and her, husband, John; grandchildren, Brian McGuire and Ashley McGuire; sisters, Barbara Chambers of Hagerstown, Bette Cochran and her husband, Jim, of Devon, Pa.; brother, Jack Schlosser and his wife, Dorothy, of Hagerstown, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was in the U.S. Navy, where he was a gunner's mate third class on the USS Macon. After coming to Dallas, he became a member of St. Michaels and All Angels Episcopal Church, where he served as an usher for many years.

He worked for Senco Fastening systems for 32 years. Upon retiring, he continued to stay active by driving limousines for Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Homes and Park Cities Limousines.

He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, never giving up on the "boys." In his spare time he worked with his model trains and spent time with family and friends. He had such a caring and loving soul that he never met someone without calling them "friend." He will be deeply missed by many.
