Travel group plans one-day trips

The St. Andrew Presbyterian Church Travel Group has scheduled two one-day trips.

On Tuesday, June 21, the trip is to the Carl Harley and Jeanne Robertson Show in Lancaster, Pa., with lunch at Bird In Hand Restaurant. Cost is $86 per person.

The second trip is to the Rainbow Dinner Theater on Tuesday, Dec. 6, to see "Home for the Holidays." Cost is $82 per person.

Spaghetti dinner set for Saturday

Calvary Temple, 147 S. Conococheague St., will hold a spaghetti dinner fundraiser Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m.

Dinner includes all-you-can-eat spaghetti, salad, dessert and drinks. Tickets cost $6.50 for adults, $3.50 for those ages 3 to 12, and are free for those younger than 3.

Angel Food has date change for distribution

Due to unforeseen problems, the distribution date for Angel Food has changed from this week to Saturday, March 26.

Pickup remains the same, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Rehoboth UMC; however, pickup will be in room 103 on the first floor instead of the fellowship hall.

Also, online ordering has been extended through midnight Thursday.

Homemade Easter eggs available at church

Homemade Easter eggs from the Ladies Auxiliary of Calvary Temple are now available through April 17.

Choices include chocolate-covered peanut-butter eggs, white-chocolate-covered peanut-butter eggs, chocolate-covered coconut eggs, white-chocolate-covered coconut eggs and the ultimate smoothie eggs (peanut-butter-covered peanut- butter eggs).

All eggs cost 75 cents each.

Community yard sale planned at the park

A community yard sale/food sale is planned for Saturday, April 16, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Byron Memorial Park to benefit Kristy Danfelt, wife of Dave Danfelt, town employee. Kristy is battling breast cancer.

Make all checks payable to the Kristy Danfelt Fund. Monetary donations will also be accepted.
