Women of Faith Day set for Saturday

Ringgold Church of Christ will hold a Women of Faith Day Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The church is at 14420 Barkdoll Road.

The guest speaker will be Lori Wriston, board director and director of oversight and development at Women of Valor Ministries. The Upfront Band will perform as well as other musical entertainment.

A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Door prizes will be available (bring the most friends for a door prize).

Soup and sandwich sale to be held

Christ Reformed United Church of Christ will hold a soup and sandwich sale Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The church is on Cavetown Church Road in Cavetown.

Money bonanza set

Smithsburg Volunteer Fire Co. will hold a money bonanza Saturday, March 26, at the fire hall, at 22 N. Main St. in Smithsburg.

The doors open at 5 p.m. and the meal will be served at 6.

Tickets cost $30 per couple. No one younger than 18 will be admitted.

The menu includes pit beef, baked beans, macaroni salad, cole slaw, macaroni and cheese, dessert and drinks.

Soccer clinic planned Saturday

A free goalkeepers/strikers clinic will be held Saturday at Hagers-town Soccer Complex, 13317 Cearfoss Pike.

The clinic will be led by Tristan Longnecker, boys varsity soccer coach at St. Maria Goretti High School in Hagerstown. He has more than 30 years of coaching experience.

The clinic is open to all goalkeepers and strikers.

Times: U10-U14 — noon to 2 p.m.; and U15-U19 — 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
