Kelbaugh wins another title
Eight-year-old Nick Kelbaugh, of Hagerstown, was the 55-pound weight-class champion in the Midget (ages 7-8) Division at the Mason-Dixon Tournament on Sunday at North Hagerstown High School.
Kelbaugh, who competes for the Williamsport Wrestling Club, has won several tournaments this year, including a Maryland State Wrestling Association state title last month.

The Hagerstown Bulldogs were the runners-up at the Penn State Hockey Valley Invitational Tournament.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Nicole Ruane had a goal and an assist for Shepherd University in a loss to Bentley (1-2).
Shannon Carta, Christina Ferrara and Kelsey Eagan each had a goal, Jenny Cavey had an assist and Emily Melanson had 14 saves for the Rams (4-2).
Ruane is ranked in the top 10 nationally in several categories in the latest NCAA Division II statistics. She is first in goals (27), second in points (34), fourth in goals per game (5.4), ninth in points per game (6.8) and ninth in draw controls (4.6). Ferrara is ranked fourth in assists (10.0) while the team is ranked third in draw controls (17.8), fourth in points (143), sixth in caused turnovers (10.6) and sixth in scoring (18.2).
