Washington County senior menus - March 16-22

The Washington County Commission on Aging offers noon lunches to anyone 60 years and older at six locations — Smithsburg, Keedysville, Williamsport and three in Hagerstown.
 
Smithsburg, Keedysville and Williamsport are open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Potomac Towers, Walnut Towers and Francis Murphy are open Monday through Friday.

The hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the days they are open.

The agency requires that you call by 11:30 a.m. to give them a two-working-days reservation notice. A donation is asked per meal.

Weekly menu

Wednesday

  • Potomac Towers, Francis Murphy, Walnut Towers - Grilled chicken patty, red beans and rice, salsa, garden salad, round roll, fruit cocktail, Irish cupcake and milk.
  • Smithsburg, Keedysville, Willliamsport - Grilled chicken patty, red beans and rice, salsa, tossed salad, fruit cocktail, Irish cupcake, round roll and milk.

Thursday

  • Pot o' gold sauerkraut, roast pork, magic mashed potatoes, rainbow mixed vegetables, leprechaun lime sherbet, bread and milk.

Friday

  • Potomac Towers, Francis Murphy, Walnut Towers - Fortified macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes, cooked kale, banana, bread and milk.
  • Smithsburg, Keedysville, Willliamsport - Meatball sub, garden salad with garbanzo beans, banana and milk.

Monday  

  • Potomac Towers, Francis Murphy, Walnut Towers - Chicken tenders, mashed potatoes and gravy, carrot coins, pears, bread and milk.
  • Smithsburg, Keedysville, Willliamsport - Chicken patty, mashed potatoes and gravy, carrot coins, pears, round roll and milk.

Tuesday

  • Stuffed shells with meat sauce, garden salad with chickpeas, garlic breadstick, mandarin oranges and milk.
