Free 'Harry Potter' movies to be shown at HCC this week

Beginning Thursday, Hagerstown Community College's Student Government Association will host a series of free movie nights for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," the first part of the final installment of J.K. Rowling's acclaimed "Harry Potter" series.

All shows will be held in the student center. Show times are as follows:

  • Thursday at 7 p.m.
  • Friday at 7 p.m.
  • Saturday at 2 p.m.

The event is free and is open to the public. Light snacks will be provided. Attendees are encouraged to dress in Harry Potter-themed costumes.

Special Harry Potter activities will be held Saturday, beginning at 1 p.m.
