The following is how much money was raised and spent by candidates for selected state and county offices in Washington County during the last campaign season.
The Herald-Mail compiled candidates’ revenues and expenditures for five required campaign-finance filing periods, roughly covering January 2010 to January 2011. In many cases, candidates — particularly incumbents — already had money in their campaign funds before they started raising or spending money in 2010.
