CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Christopher Alan Henson, 33, of Chambersburg, died unexpectedly in an auto accident on March 11, 2011, in Hagerstown, Md.

He was the beloved son of Beverly Henson of Williamsport, Md., and Timothy Henson and his wife, Gertie, of Hagerstown.

Chris is survived by his soul mate and wife of 17 years, Angela, his two daughters, Casey and Alice, and two sons, Benjamin and Joseph, all at home; his sister, Lynn Carbaugh and her husband, Terry, of Williamsport; and brother, Lance Cpl. Victor Henson of Twentynine Palms, Calif.

Chris was raised in Williamsport and graduated in 1995 from Williamsport High School.

He was employed at Sealy Mattress, Williamsport, for the past 14 years.

Chris was devoted to his family, and leaves a legacy of love and honor to his children. He was his children’s hero. He loved fishing and camping, the Potomac River and Caledonia State Park.

The family will receive friends at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, on Tuesday, March 15, 2011, from 4 to 7 p.m. The funeral home will be open after 9 a.m. Tuesday for the convenience of family and friends. Burial will be private.
