Bartlett hosting open-door meeting Monday in Hagerstown

U.S. Rep. Roscoe Bartlett, R-Md., will meet with constituents one-on-one during an “open-door” meeting in Hagerstown Monday, according to a news release from the congressman’s office.

Bartlett will be at his Hagerstown district office on Dual Highway from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, the release said.

“Whether you have a question about a federal government policy, are experiencing a problem with a program, such as Social Security, Medicare or veterans’ benefits, or just want to stop by to say ‘hello,’ I hope you will be able to take advantage of this opportunity and schedule an appointment,” Bartlett said in the release.

Spaces fill up fast and appointments are strongly encouraged, the release said.

The meeting is one of a series of town halls and open-door meetings Bartlett is holding for constituents throughout District 6 between March and June.

He will also hold meetings Monday in Westminster, Md., Thursday in Frederick, Md., and March 29 in Cumberland, Md.

  • April 27, Cyber security conference, 8:30 a.m. to noon at Hagerstown Community College

  • May 16, veterans’ town-hall meeting, noon to 1:30 p.m. at American Legion FSK Post 11 in Frederick

  • May 19, Medicare town-hall meeting, 6 to 6:30 p.m. at Robinwood Professional Center

  • June 13, Go Green Energy Conference, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Frederick Fairgrounds
