MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — A man got away with an estimated $100 Saturday night after a robbery at a 7-Eleven northeast of Martinsburg, according to a news release from the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Department.

The robbery at the convenience store at Berkeley Station Road and Williamsport Pike, also known as U.S. 11, occurred shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday, police said.

The man fled toward Mid Atlantic Parkway, police said.

Police searched the area using a K-9, but said they could not find the suspect.

According to a witness and surveillance video, the suspect is a white male in his late teens, 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighing 160 to 170 pounds, police said.

The suspect was wearing a light gray hooded sweat shirt backward with eyeholes cut out of the hood so his face was concealed, police said.

He was wearing a black T-shirt underneath the sweat shirt, police said. The suspect also was wearing dark, acid-washed jeans and black footwear, police said.
