Amanda S. Willey, age 30, of Needmore, Pa., died Sunday, March 6, 2011, at Meritus Medical Center near Hagerstown, Md.

Born Oct. 22, 1980, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of James W. and Vicki L. Myers Willey of Needmore.

She was a 1998 graduate of Southern Fulton High School, Warfordsburg, Pa., and was employed as manager for the VFW in Breezwood, Pa.

Besides her parents, she is survived by one daughter, Lexus McCloskey, at home: one sister, Holly Burch and husband, Nick, of Needmore; two brothers, James C. Willey of McConnellsburg, Kevin J. Willey and wife, Heather, of Needmore; and maternal grandmother, Lora Myers, of Needmore. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Lee Myers; and paternal grandparents, Ben and Stella Willey.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 10, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove Christian Church, Warfordsburg. The Rev. Denver A. Plessinger will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St. Hancock, Md., and at the church on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. For the convenience of friends and family the funeral home will be open from 2 to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Tower Bank, Great Cove Road, Needmore, PA 17238 in trust for Lexus.
