Nittany Lion Reads program at Franklin County libraries

Mont Alto, Pa. — Penn State Mont Alto announces the launch of its Nittany Lion Reads program to promote reading.

Children receive to a story reading, a meet-and-greet session and picture-taking time with the Penn State Nittany Lion. The program is free and will visit the following Franklin County libraries:

  • Saturday, March 12, 10 a.m., Grove Family Library, 101 Ragged Edge Road, Chambersburg, Pa.
  •  Saturday, March 19, 11 a.m., Coyle Free Library, 102 N. Main St., Chambersburg.
  •  Saturday, April 9, 11 a.m., Lilian S. Besore Memorial Library, 305 E. Baltimore St., Greencastle, Pa.

Each program runs approximately one hour.
