WILLIAMSPORT —
Myron Lee "Ike" Draper Sr., 80, of Tammany Manor Road, Williamsport, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011, at Meritus Medical Center near Hagerstown.

Born Oct. 18, 1930, in Wolfsville, Md., he was the son of the late Norman L. and Ona Virginia Lewis Draper.

He was a graduate of Middletown High School, Middletown, Md.

He was employed by Nationwide Insurance until his retirement. He was previously employed with the Maryland State Police as a trooper in Baltimore County from 1952 to 1956.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War.

He attended Rehoboth United Methodist Church, Williamsport.

He was a member of Potomac Post 202 American Legion, Williamsport, Improved Order of Red Men Conococheague Tribe 84, Williamsport, and Potomac Fish and Game Club, Williamsport.

Survivors include wife, Louise Elaine Spickler Draper, whom he married March 9, 1956, of Williamsport; daughter, Cindy Damewood and her husband, Kevin, of Boonsboro; daughter, Shannon Flook, and her husband, Brian, of Boonsboro; son, Lee Draper and his wife, Tina, of Williamsport; son, Todd Draper and his wife, Melanie, of Williamsport; son, Scott Draper, of Williamsport; grandchildren, Josh, Ashley, Lee, Shannon, Alexie, Jesse, Max, Paige, Brandon, Luke and Trace; and great-granddaughter, Faithlynn.

He was predeceased by two sisters and three brothers.

Services and burial will be private.

Family and friends are invited to a casual celebration of Ike's life at the Potomac Post 202 American Legion, 400 American Legion Drive, Williamsport, on Sunday, March 13, 2011, from 3 to 5 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rehoboth United Methodist Church, 30 E. Salisbury St., Williamsport MD 21795.
