To honor King, Winter Street students write about their dreams

HAGERSTOWN — Second-graders at Winter Street Elementary School spoke about their own dreams Tuesday at a program honoring Martin Luther King Jr.

Students were given the opportunity to write about their own dreams for the world and what they could do to change it.

Some changes they suggested included no littering, no bullying, no smoking, no drinking and simply working toward peace and caring for each other.
