HCC students inducted into honor society

Nine students at Hagerstown Community College recently were inducted into the Maryland Zeta Chapter of Lambda Nu, a national honor society for radiologic and imaging sciences.

HCC inductees included Danielle Coyle of Cascade; Brittany Brown and Misty Sanbower, both of Chambersburg, Pa.; Kerri Maus of Hagerstown; Dijana Mitrovic of Lemoyne, Pa.; Jessica Mathis of Mt. Airy, Md.; Danielle Garst of New Windsor, Md.; Michael Draper of South Mountain, Pa.; and Stephanie Crilley of Waynesboro, Pa.

To be eligible, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher, must be enrolled in a radiologic or imaging-sciences program as a full-time student for at least one semester and must demonstrate commitment to the profession.

HCC has been a charter chapter member of Lambda Nu since the society began in 2001. There are 118 chapters in 40 states, with new charters being issued every month. For more information, go to www.lambdanu.org.
