Rebecca's birthday gift to the animals

HAGERSTOWN — For her 12th birthday party, Rebecca Mason asked her friends to bring items for the animals at the Washington County Humane Society shelter rather than gifts for her.

Her birthday party was at Starland Roller Rink.

She said she did it because “I love animals and I feel bad when I see them be put to sleep.”
