financial advisers ranks No. 11 in its 11th consecutive appearance in Training magazine's "Training Top 125."

Fulton Financial Corp.

LANCASTER, Pa. — Fulton Financial Corp.
will participate as a presenter at the 2011 Keefe, Bruyette and Woods Bank Conference in Boston March 1.

R. Scott Smith Jr., chairman and chief executive officer, and Charles J. Nugent, senior executive vice president and chief financial officer, are scheduled to make a presentation to attendees discussing the strategies and performance of the company.

Philips' Seeds and Garden Center

GREENCASTLE, Pa. — Philips' Seeds and Garden Center
in Greencastle, Pa., offers  much more than seeds.

Established in 1872 by John Philips, Philips' Seeds was a catalog seed company, selling wholesale and retail. Over the years, it has developed into a complete garden center.

 The store now also sells trees, shrubs, statuary, fountains, annuals, perennials, garden art and home decor.

It is open March through mid-December.



Cumberland Valley Associated Builders and Contractors

The Associated Builders and Contractors Inc., Cumberland Valley Chapter, held a networking event Feb. 3 at HPG Windows and Doors in Hagerstown.

Andersen Windows was the food sponsor for the event.

The organization will also  hold its annual Construction Trades Competition Saturday, March 5, 2011, at the ABC- Barr Construction Institute, 530 N. Locust St., Hagerstown. The event will be held from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The competition will feature some of ABC's most accomplished third- and fourth-year apprentices. Contestants in electrical and plumbing will square off against each other to demonstrate their knowledge of their trade.



Valley Dental Associates

Dr. Robert Winebrenner of Valley Dental Associates was scheduled to move his six-treatment-room practice at 322 Antietam St. in Hagerstown on Feb. 25.

Nine treatment rooms, with new state-of-the art equipment, will be installed this week in the new office location at the Sylvania Building at 13424 Pennsylvania Ave., Suite 301, Hagerstown.

The phone number will remain the same at 301-733-4314 and will be answered during the week of equipment installation. Office hours have been increased to include Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The family and cosmetic practice will now also include sedation dentistry, and the new location is wheelchair- accessible.

The new office will reopen on Monday, March 7.
