Business community asked to complete a business and industry work force needs survey

February 23, 2011

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — The Martinsburg-Berkeley County Chamber of Commerce is asking the business community to complete a business and industry work force needs survey to help the organization improve the services it offers.

The survey results are expected to guide the Chamber of Commerce's efforts to facilitate the development of a more-comprehensive picture of elements such as growth and development of businesses, education and training needs, and other areas where the Chamber might be of assistance, according to a news release.

"There are multiple work force development resources in the community, and it is the Chamber's goal to inform the business community of the resources that are currently available and bridge any gaps that may exist," the Chamber said in a news release.

Members of the community can request a copy of the survey by contacting Chamber President and CEO Tina Combs at tina@berkeleycounty.org or 304-267-4841.
