Fayetteville man charged in sex crimes

FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. — A Fayetteville man was charged Wednesday with several sex crimes that allegedly involved a girl and a woman last year in Greene and Letterkenny townships, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Cody M. Roberts, 21, was charged with indecent assault and criminal attempt/aggravated indecent assault for his alleged involvement with a 15-year-old girl; and criminal attempt/rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, sexual assault and indecent assault for his alleged involvement with a 20-year-old woman, according to a state police press release.

Troopers said the crimes are alleged to have occurred from Sept. 26 to Nov. 14.

Roberts was taken to Franklin County Jail and released Wednesday on a $50,000 bond, a jail spokeswoman said.
