Educators invited to work with Habitat

February 17, 2011

The 2011 Educators’ House is a partnership between the Washington County Board of Education and Habitat for Humanity.

The Educators’ House is a Habitat for Humanity Women Build project. This project welcomes men, but also has a goal to include women in hands-on building experience.

Students can also be involved in this project. Ages 16 or older are welcome to work on the job site; other ages may be involved in other activities.

Volunteers are needed to build the house, provide lunches, and more; skilled and unskilled workers are welcome. There is also a goal of raising $65,000 to build the house.

Contact Habitat for Humanity of Washington County at 301-791-9009 or womenbuild@att.net.
