Linda Z. Pryor, 68, of Lemasters, passed away Feb. 15, 2011, at Menno Haven Nursing Center, Chambersburg, Pa.

Born July 4, 1942, in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of Lady Grace Bricker Zimmerman of Chambersburg and the late Samuel L. Zimmerman.

A 1960 graduate of James Buchanan High School, she worked at J. Schoeneman Co. of Chambersburg for a period of time. She then was employed for 22 years at M&T Bank of Mercersburg. Following her retirement from banking, Linda worked for Peters Township Municipal Authority and J&D Market of Lemasters.

 Linda was a member of Montgomery Brethren in Christ Church of Mercersburg, where she participated in mission trips and mission work.

Her husband, William Alvin Pryor, died Oct. 3, 2008.

She enjoyed her family, friends, gardening and reading.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Susan P. (wife of Roderick M.) LaFollette of Keedysville, Md.; two sons, Richard W. (husband of Cindy S.) Pryor of Fort Loudon, Pa., and Randall J. (husband of Meagan R.) Pryor of Newburg, Pa.; three grandchildren, Brandon Lucas Pryor, Hanna Grace Pryor and Madison Louise Pryor; a sister, Patsy A. Musser of Mercersburg; and a brother, Ross S. Zimmerman of McMinnville, Tenn.; half-sister and half-brothers, Ida L. Barnhart and Donald L. Weller, both of Hancock, Md., Samuel L. Zimmerman of Sabillasville, Md., Wayne J. Zimmerman of Fredericksburg, Va., Luther C. Zimmerman of Hagerstown, Md., Paul R. Zimmerman of Haughton, La., Danny S. Zimmerman of Bendersville, Pa., and Douglas W. Zimmerman and Michael L. Zimmerman, both of Myersville, Md.

 A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, at Montgomery Brethren in Christ Church, with the Revs. Dennis Ritchey and Manny Diaz officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.

There will be no viewing; however, the family will receive friends two hours before the service Saturday in the church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lutheran Home Care, designated to Hospice, 2700 Luther Drive, Chambersburg, PA 17201 or to Montgomery Brethren in Christ Church Building Fund, c/o Henry Carbaugh, 7207 Ruritan Drive, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
