Wednesday night is Blue Band Night at Roy Rogers

Roy Rogers and the Williamsport Blue Band Boosters invite the community to this month's Blue Band Night, which will be today from 5 to 7 p.m. at the 1719 Massey Blvd. restaurant.

The Blue Band will use the proceeds to help pay for its uniforms.

Let the cashier know you support the Blue Band, and the restaurant will give a portion of the bill to the New Uniform Fund.

Ruritan plans breakfast

Downsville Ruritan will hold a pancake breakfast Saturday from 7 to 10 a.m. at the Downsville Community Center (old Downsville school).

The menu includes all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, puddin', scrambled eggs, sausage gravy, coffee, milk and orange juice.

Tickets cost $5.50 for adults, $3.50 for those ages 6 to 12, and are free for those ages 5 and younger.

Rehoboth plans family dinner Saturday

Rehoboth United Methodist Church, 30 E. Salisbury St., will hold an old-fashioned family dinner on Saturday from noon to 6 p.m.

The menu includes all-you-can-eat turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, sauerkraut, dessert and beverage.

Tickets cost $9 for adults, $5 for those ages 5 to 11 and are free for those 4 and younger. Tickets can be purchased at the door. Carry-out orders will be available.

The Fellowship Hall is handicapped accessible from Salisbury Street.

Longaberger and cash bingo planned Feb. 27

Past Pocahontas will sponsor a Longaberger and cash bingo event on Sunday, Feb. 27, at the Improved Order of Red Men Lodge, 16129 Lappans Road. Doors open at 11 a.m., lunch will be served at noon and bingo starts at 1 p.m. Lunch includes two-piece chicken dinner, vegetable and drinks.

Longaberger baskets will be filled. The event also includes raffles and gaming.

Tickets cost $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Only 120 tickets will be sold.

Registration time for W.C. Girls Softball League

There is still time to register for the Washington County Girls Softball League. Register at Dick's Sporting Goods, 17780 Garland Groh Blvd., Hagerstown, on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.

Registration will also be held at Extra Innings, 16038 Business Pkwy., Hagerstown, on Friday, Feb. 25, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 26, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Sunday, Feb. 27, from noon to 5 p.m.
