New truck purchased for town use

BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. — The Town of Bath approved a lease purchase agreement with Citizens National Bank on Tuesday for a new Ford 550 diesel truck that is retrofitted with a snowplow.

At the Bath Town Council meeting, Charles Trump, CNB's attorney, met with the council members to sign the lease purchase agreement.

The town paid a down payment of about $20,000 on the truck and got a $32,130 loan from the bank for 44 months, with monthly payments of $800.



Make It Shine date selected

BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. —
Saturday, April 2, is the official spring Make It Shine cleanup day in the Town of Bath. The rain date is April 9.

Councilman Scott Merki will coordinate the event, Bath Mayor Susan J. Webster said at Tuesday's council meeting.

The Town of Bath is the local government inside Berkeley Springs.
