Hagerstown Bridge Club posts Feb. 9 results

Twenty-six pairs competed in a Unit Championship game Feb. 9, during a meeting of the Hagerstown Bridge Club.

Overall winners in Flight A were: first place, Barbara Beard and Nancy Burger with a 65.4-percent game; second place, Aurora McDonough with 64.7- percent; third place, Barbara Shaw and Richard Taylor with 62.8 percent; fourth place, Elaine Rowe and Kathleen Goss with 62.5 percent; fifth place, Debbie Kiser and Rick Elbo; and sixth place, Lois Taylor and Robert Freed. 

In Flight B, Melva Urban and Robert Back came in fourth place; and David Rife and Charles Meister came in fifth place. 

In Flight C, Phillip Davis and Robert Knuff came in third place. 

North-South section winners in Flight A were fourth place, Emma Eaton and Ron Clawson.

East-West section winners in Flight B were fourth place, Madeline and Bill Davis.

A Junior Fund game will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, at American Legion Post 42, 405 Northern Ave., Hagerstown.
