WAYNESBORO, Pa. — The owner of a downtown business is facing several charges Wednesday after police say they found items related to child pornography during a search of the business.

Philip Crawford was charged with sexual abuse of children by photographing, possession of child pornography and corruption of minors, according to a Waynesboro Police Department news release.

Crawford, 38, of 23 Penn St., Waynesboro, was being held in the Franklin County Jail Wednesday evening on $25,000 bail, according to a jail spokesman.

Police say they searched Crawford's business, Just Because, at 42 W. Main St., on Tuesday at around 4 p.m.

The search turned up photos of a 14-year-old girl engaged in a sexually explicit act, police said in the release.

Waynesboro police are asking anyone with more information about this case to call them at 717-762-2132.
