Nominations sought for Maryland Senior Citizens Hall of Fame

Do you know any active senior volunteers 60 or older who have made outstanding contributions to improve the lives of others in the community? You can nominate him or her for the Maryland Senior Citizens Hall of Fame.

The nominee must complete a nomination form and attach a reference letter from an individual who knows his or her accomplishments and a photograph of the candidate. Each year, MSCHF Inc. honors as many as 50 nominees as inductees into the Hall of Fame. Nominations may be made by an individual or an organization.

Nomination forms are available by calling Parker Koons at 410-828-5852. The deadline for submitting the completed nomination form is April 30.

Nominees who are selected for induction will be presented at the annual awards luncheon Thursday, Oct. 20,  at Michael's Eighth Avenue in Glen Burnie, Md.
