CLEAR SPRING, Md. — Zeana Marzella Blair, 88, of Clear Spring, Md., passed away Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011, at Williamsport Nursing Home.

Born March 28, 1922, in Clear Spring, she was the daughter of the late Harry Clay Weaver and Bessie Elizabeth “Rohrer” Weaver.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Luther Blair, in 1993.

She was a member of the former Indian Springs Bible Church, currently Grace Bible Church of Indian Springs in Big Pool.

She was a homemaker.

She is the last surviving member of her family.

She is survived by two daughters, Carol Hovermale and husband, Teddy, and J. Faye McCarty and husband, Robert, both of Clear Spring; two sons, Larry H. Blair and wife, Mary, and Dennis M. Blair, both of Hagerstown; grandchildren, Jeffrey A. Hovermale of Clear Spring, Mary Alice Pogue of Hagerstown, Robert McCarty Jr., Rodney McCarty, Tracey McCarty, Tim McCarty, all of Clear Spring, and John Blair of Hagerstown; great-grandchildren, Sara Hovermale, Angie Pogue, Levi Pogue, Kayla McCarty, and Zacharie McCarty; and great-great-granddaughter, Grace Gossard.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by four sisters and eight brothers.

Services will be held on Monday, Feb. 7, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at Donald Edwin Thompson Funeral Home Inc., 13607 National Pike, Clear Spring. Pastor Nick Britton will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
