Sidwell Friends 80, Saint James 58
ST. JAMES — Josh Hart helped Sidwell Friends shred every defense Saint James had to offer by scoring 27 points in an 80-58 Mid Atlantic Conference victory on Tuesday.
Sidwell Friends led 22-6 after one quarter as the Saints (10-7, 3-5) went from at 3-2 zone to a 1-3-1 to man defense to no avail.
Avery Wilmore led Saint James with 22 points and seven assists, while Alex Wheeler had 15 points and Leonard Livingston had 10 rebounds.
On Monday night, Avery Wilmore had 13 points, 12 rebounds and five assists as the Saints beat St. Andrews 43-32.
Leonard Livingston added nine points, 10 rebounds and seven blocks for Saint James.

GREENCASTLE, Pa. — Corey Meyers led Greencastle with 14 points and Denver Cordell had 12 points, 10 rebounds, six steals and five assists in a victory over Northern on Monday. Eric Baymon added 12 points for the Blue Devils.

Hagerstown men race in Bahamas
NASSAU, Bahamas — Brian Fouche and Mike Spinnler, both of Hagerstown, competed in the two-day, three-stage Tour of the Bahamas last weekend.
Fouche, 29, finished 33rd overall in the Pro I-II field, while Spinnler, 52, was eighth overall in the Masters 50-plus division.

PEORIA, Ill. — Chad Thompson, a 2009 Smithsburg graduate will transfer from Shippensburg (Pa.) University to Robert Morris University-Peoria after signing a letter of intent.
Thompson, from Cascade, Md., will join the Robert Morris bowling team bringing international experience after representing the United States in the 2007 World Games in Vienna, Austria. He has one 300 game to his credit.
Thompson will pursue a bachelor of business administration, concentrating in accounting.
