Boy Scout Troop 252 held its inaugural new Scout open house.
Invitations were sent to local Webelo dens and boys who had shown interest in Scouting to come and visit on Jan. 8.
Cub Scouts and other potential Boy Scouts joined the troop members in an opening flag ceremony.
While the boys visited various Scout activity stations run by the Boy Scouts, the parents had an opportunity to hear from the Scout leaders and ask individual questions.
The afternoon ended with snacks and a Scout Master Minute.
Troop 252 meets at and is chartered by the Church of Christ at Hagerstown.
