Long named COO of hospital in Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Greg Long, who grew up in Keedysville and graduated from Boonsboro High School in 1977, has been named chief operating officer of Doctors Hospital — Nelsonville.

He is the son of Rosalie Long and the late John Long Jr.

Long most recently served as vice president of support services at Berger Health System in Circleville, Ohio. He also brings to his new role experience as vice president of logistics at Berger Hospital, and more than 20 years of health care leadership and experience from a variety of roles while serving in the U.S. Air Force.

Long holds a master's of public administration degree from Wilmington (Del.) College and a bachelor's degree in business administration with a specialization in health care administration from Wayland Baptist University in Texas.
