Franklin County Emergency Services report

The following incidents were reported Thursday by Franklin County (Pa.) Emergency Services:

  • At 4:01 p.m., an auto accident in the 900 block of Norland Avenue in Chambersburg.
  • At 4:57 p.m., an auto accident at Barr and Hollowell Church roads in Antrim Township.

Incidents reported to Hagerstown police

The Hagerstown Police Department responded to the following incidents, according to spokeswoman Barbara Pickett:

Jan. 18

  • A theft of copper pipes was reported in the 700 block of Summit Avenue.
  • Damage to a vehicle was reported on Murph Avenue.
  • A theft was reported in the 200 block of East Franklin Street.
  • A toolbox was found at Chase Street and Burhans Boulevard.
  • A wanted person was apprehended in the 100 block of West Franklin Street.
  • A hit-and-run accident was reported at Mitchell Avenue and Hammond Street.
  • A controlled dangerous substance violation was reported at an apartment on Haven Road. An arrest was made.
  • An assault was reported on Haven Road.

  • A vehicle with expired Pennsylvania tags was towed on South Street.
  • An assault was reported in the 40 block of North Locust Street.
  • A theft from two motor vehicles occurred in the 1000 block of Lindsay Lane.
  • Tires were reported slashed in a vehicle in the 40 block of West North Avenue.
  • An iPod was reported stolen in the 800 block of Hamilton Boulevard.
  • A scam was reported in the 60 block of East Avenue.
  • A sick and injured person was reported in the 200 block of North Prospect Street.
  • A domestic assault was reported in the 12000 block of Cortland Drive.
  • A burglary was reported in the 300 block of North Locust Street.
  • Damage to property was reported at the A&E Parking Deck at 25 Renaissance Way.

Jan. 20

  • A vehicle was towed from a no parking zone at 109 N. Mulberry St.
  • Damage to a window was reported at 720 W. Franklin St.
  • Theft from a vehicle was reported in the 500 block of Lynnhaven Drive.
  • A burglary was reported in the 700 block of West Washington Street.
  • A Dodge pickup with registration violations was towed in the 700 block of Dual Highway.
  • A lawn mower was reported stolen in the 700 block of Salem Avenue.
  • Someone carrying a concealed weapon was reported in the first block of East Antietam Street. An arrest was made.
  • A burglary involving the theft of copper pipe was reported in the 700 block of Guilford Avenue

Jan. 21

  • A vehicle was towed due to a driving suspended incident at Salem and Wyoming avenues.
  • A burglary at a storage shed was reported in the 100 block of Mont Valla Avenue.
  • A burglary was reported in the 30 block of North Locust Street.

Jan. 22

  • A burglary of a safe as reported in the 40 block of North Mulberry Street.
  • A person was arrested following a failure to obey an arrest at the Cancun Cantina on Dual Highway.
  • Copper pipes were reported stolen during a burglary in the 700 block of Guilford Avenue.
  • Copper pipes were reported stolen during a burglary in the 70 block of Wakefield Road.
  • A person was arrested for carrying a handgun in the 100 block of East Antietam Street.
  • Theft of cash from an apartment was reported in the 200 block of West Franklin Street.
  • A light pole was struck at Washington and West Side avenues.
  • An apprehension of an out-of-state wanted person occurred in the 400 block of West Washington Street.
  • An arrest warrant was executed in the 100 block of Berkson Avenue.
  • An arrest warrant was executed at the Reach Shelter on West Franklin Street.
  • An arrest warrant was executed in the 50 block of Summit Avenue.
