Jean Loretta Barbour, 75, of Hagerstown, Md., went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011, at her home  surrounded by her loving family.

Born July 10, 1935, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Gladys Snyder Billman.

Jean attended the old Hagerstown High School, and loved yard sales and playing bingo. Jean also sponsored Jean's Team and J.B.'s softball teams in the Williamsport-Pinesburg Softball League for over 10 years. Also, in her younger years, she was an avid bowler in several leagues around town for more than 25 years. She also sponsored several teams, along with her husband, under J & L Floors.

Jean was a member of Calvary Temple in Williamsport, with Pastors Bobby Robinson and Lauren Yost.

She is survived by her husband, Lewis "Lou" Barbour, whom she loved very much and had a passionate love affair with for 39 years; a daughter, Yvonne Yeakle of Hagerstown; sons, David Moyer of Hagerstown, Don Roof and wife, Kim of Clearwater, Fla., Rodney Roof and wife, Sharon of Front Royal, Va., and adopted son, Curty Myers and wife, Kim of Hagerstown; a sister, Freda Harbaugh and husband, Roy of Hagerstown; brother, Frank "Jr." Billman of Hagerstown; stepmother, Nancy Billman of Clear Spring, Md.; stepsisters, Mary Castle-Horn and Rose Mowen, both of Hagerstown; stepbrother, Richard Baker of Clear Spring; 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great- grandson, Heathe Allen Baker, who was the light of her eye.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Ronald Roof and Eugene Roof; daughter, Victoria Moyer; granddaughter, Denise Roof; and a special nephew, Dale Harbaugh.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. The Rev. Robert V. Robinson and Pastor Lauren Yost will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
