Tractor-trailer hits stop sign in Waynesboro

WAYNESBORO, Pa. — Waynesboro police said they tracked down a tractor-trailer that a witness said hit a stop sign at the intersection of Fairview Avenue and West Second Street.

Police said they talked to driver David Robertson of Sussex, N.J., and he was in the process of reporting the incident when the officer arrived.

The truck had minor scratches, police said.

Incidents reported in Franklin County


The following incidents were reported Tuesday by Franklin County (Pa.) Emergency Services:

  • At 3:02 a.m., a shed fire in the 3700 block of Williamson Road in Antrim Township.
  • At 6:32 a.m., an auto accident in the 600 block of North Grant Street.
