Financial peace program coming to Hagerstown on Feb. 6

Financial Peace University, a program taught by Dave Ramsey that has helped more than 1 million families positively change their financial future, is coming to Hagerstown.

Classes will be held at Hagerstown Church of the Nazarene, 141 N. Edgewood Drive, beginning Sunday, Feb. 6. The class will be held for 14 weeks (skipping Easter and Mother's Day), on Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to noon. 

To register for the class, call the church office at 301-797-4524.  The registration fee is due by Jan. 30.

The program teaches families and individuals how to handle their money through common-sense principles and small group accountability.

The program includes lessons on DVD. After each lesson, the group meets to help each other plan budgets, to discuss successes and temptations, and to support each other in their journey to beat debt and build wealth.

  • Getting out of debt
  • Understanding investments
